Club Racing Information
At Burlington Sailing & Boating Club, we have a very active and competitive racing program. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, we race in the bay alongside the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club fleet, creating a large and exciting race series. The season is divided into Spring, Summer, and Fall series, with top racers awarded pennants to proudly display on their vessels during special club occasions. The Sailing Instructions and Notice of Race contain important race management, course, safety, and scoring information for all competitors.
Throughout the season, members also venture onto Lake Ontario to compete in regattas hosted by clubs across the region. Yacht owners are often looking for crew members, making racing a great way to get involved, build experience, and meet fellow sailors. We encourage crew members to join as social members of the club to enjoy the full club experience and stay informed about racing and social events throughout the season.
