BSBC Corinthian Fund
Want to donate to this Fund? See application
To encourage and to enhance a life long love of and success in sailing the Burlington Sailing & Boating Club started a Corinthian fund in 2001.
The purpose of this fund is as follows:
To financially assist sailors who have shown a serious interest in improving their skills in sailing. This assistance could be made available to cover costs related, but not limited to, equipment, travel, accommodation, training and regatta entry fees.
Eligible sailors include BSBC members, their immediate families and students in the BSBC sailing school.
Sailors who wish to apply for a BSBC Corinthian grant should complete the application form and forward it to the committee for review. Funds may be dispensed at the beginning of a season in anticipation of regattas attended but all grants will have to be substantiated with receipts.
Applications can be also be obtained from certain issues of Underway, the BSBC clubhouse notice board.
Completed applications should be forwarded to BS& BC
Applications should be completed well in advance of the season to allow the committee to consider funding in time for the sailor to plan the season.
