At the Toronto International Boat show, I picked up a copy of the "Ontario Boating Calendar" - I opted for the 2008 edition. When I got it home and looked at the pictures I noticed that many were taken by "Our Own" Alex Gadamer so I asked him if I could bring this to the club's attention:
" I would be honored. Thank you for thinking of this. Please note this is a fund-raising calendar supporting the Spirit of Canada, Toronto Brigantine Incorporated, and the Canadian Olympic Sailing Team.
Big Picture Publishing Co. has donated $500. to each of these organizations to help promote their efforts and sailing in Ontario. "
Kind Regards, Alex -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Kudos Alex!
Everyone get your calendar and help buy a mile of sea for Derek Hatfield and Spirit of Canada.
